Hello. Yes, it did seem rough. But, after comparing the original and the DS 3.2 version, they had the same appearance. My guess is that the final output was something the production company wanted...a celluloid or "shot on old film" look. Kinda like the real b/w photos that were shot/developed on silvers; not the digicam look of today..02Ron Jon
